Job Description

Support individuals with Down syndrome in their community, helping with social activities and daily living tasks and assisting with communication skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks, including dressing, feeding, and hygiene
  • Encourage participation in social, recreational, and educational activities
  • Provide mobility support and assist with transportation
  • Develop individualized care plans with the help of family and healthcare professionals

Certificates / Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Disability Services or Individual Support
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Working With Children Check (if required)
  • English Language Requirement: IELTS 5.5+ or equivalent
